Mr.Bubbles...

The first bizjet I photohraph this year had a rather unusual livery :)

Dutch registration Falcon 2000 PH-PKF, operated by JetNetherlands
Still, it wasn't the first time I got around here a JetNetherlands plane...PH-VBG, another Falcon 2000 on a night seassion that included a Bulgaria Air plane (another rare plane around here...)

Unusuals by the night

Last saturday night (actually it was already sunday...) I was at S.Cruz so, took the oportunity to go to the airport for some night shots of some unsual traffic in night-stop.

The catch I was after was this Bulgaria Air.
This airline came to Madeira on a weekly basis but usualy it's only by day.
This one made a special charter flight from Sofia just for the Madeira Flower Festival so it was the oportunity to get it on night-stop...

LZ-FBC, the A320 from Bulgaria Air, in night-stop

Not usual to see A320 engines covered at Madeira...anyway, easy to get the engine model....
This Bulgaria Air will depart tomorrow, back to Sofia at 5pm

The other plane I wanted to get on this spotting seasson, PH-VBG, a Falcon 2000 form JetNetherlands...

And the bonus plane....
I'm pretty sure it's the first time I get a F100 from PGA (or any other company) on night-stop....

Air Méditerranée

Air Méditerranée started flying to Madeira on this summer season and it's been coming to Madeira for a few weeks.
Despite that still hadn't got any pic of it.
Last Thursday decided to go for it: was coming on the afternoon right on time to get it after work and it was a B735, which is not that usual around here...

But oposite to Funchal, the weather at the airport was quite dull and it looks like the pilots had only trained Madeira's  runway 05...despite the wind was indicating runway 23, they chose, both for landing and take-off runway 05....

After missing the landing (was waiting on 23, it landed on 05...) headed for the usual spots, together with a few more spotters, which would give a  nice location for runway 23 take-off......

Despit the winds indicating 23, it linned up on 05, passing by Bulgaria Air  LZ-FBC and  Falcon 2000 PH-VBG

check the wind indicator....it was quite a long take-off run...

F-HCOA and (taxiing) the other french traffic of the afternoon,  Transavia's F-GZHE.
On the apron, parked: Air Berlin's (Belair) HB-IOR and Sata's CS-TKJ
