Morning Tuiflys

Yesterday decided to go for some morning shots as one of the Tuifly planes was the Blue Haribo (D-AHFM).

Unfortunatelly, the weather was quite dark...anyway, at least runway 23 was in use, wich meant the possibility of getting some interesting shots on the take-offs

Lucky shot with D-AHFY beacons on, right after take-off

Tuifly special liveries

Like I mentioned last week, finally caught the DB Regio.
Despite the regular Tuifly livery beeing nothing too thrilling (although the yellow livery looks a lot better than the blue one...) still, Tuifly has been the airline that comes to Madeira with the most special liveries and great ones!

So, a small selection of these liveries, that I've caught, during times...

D-ATUF 's Hapag Lloyd Kreuzfahrt looks a lot like the old Hapag Lloyd livery (but it's a pretty sight indeed...)
D-ATUD, the Goldbaren Haribo was also one that I was after for quite a while before getting it...
Fantástic livery!
D-AHFZ, a nice livery but not too outstanding...never managed to get it in sunny days...
The day's I photographed it, the only sun was the one on the tail...

D-AHFM, the Blue Haribo looks really nice but the Golden one beats it, no doubt....
D-ATUE the DB1 Regio, really great livery (but the 2, red, looks a lot more colorful...)
Only caught it in rainy days...which sometimes, isn't that bad...

D-AHLK, the other Hapag Lloyd Kreuzfahrt livery

D-AHFB was one fantastic livery, advertishing the Volkswagen Sharan...
Later went to Jet2, with another great special livery.
Check HERE
D-ATUC the DB Regio from last week! Great livery (and colorful...)

And a couple of the older liveries...

D-AHFX had this fantastic Sardinia Cagliari livery, together with the HLX regular livery (that was a lot more interesting that the regular Hapag Lloyd one...)
D-AHFM, the Hannover Airport special livery was simple but, very nice...
Quite a cooking...

5 Top rated pics at Airliners.net

Like I mentioned yesterday, on the Photo of the Week entry, will be publishing some more 5 themed entries...

This one is regarding my 5 Top rated pics at Airliners.net.
It's not the ones with the most views, they're just the 5 ones that have been best voted by airliner viewers...

#1 - Asas de Portugal at Funchal 500 years Celebrations (2008)
PoAF Alpha-Jets 15250 and 15206 on an amazing effect of smoke and condensation...
Perfected rating (5) from the users and defnitely on of my favorite pics,..

#2 - Down into 05...
rated 4.5625: G-EZAG, an Easyjet A319 going down into runway 05.
This is really a very nice spot. Best time, on the late afternoon...
Unfortunatelly only went there once, with Jorge...
must try it some day again (with the A330...)
#3 - Air Berlin's belly
rated 4.5: Air Berlin's new livery looks very nice even from under the plane (D-ABCD) and with the light of that day, the pic turned out really nice! I don't usually like pics of planes just against the sky but this one's and exception....

#4 - Landing 23 on the afternoon...
rated 4.4: D-ALTK the A320 that used to be from LTU makes an afternoon landing with some great light on it..
Taken with my sigma 18-200OS lens, which isn't exactly some great quality lens, still turned out to be one pic that I also enjoy a lot...
#5 - Climbing out....
rated 4.750: D-AHFM from Hapagfly climbs out of runway 05, in the afternoon.
Taken from the "Torre", a place behind the airport...too bad that now the vegetation inside the airport fence has grown too much to take pics like this from that point... (unless you use a ladder, closer to the fence)
Just for the curiosity, this one got the Blue Haribo special livery....

New Photo of the Week - Carrier take-off

D-AHFM taking off from runway 05
This pic has already a couple of years but I hadn't uploaded it anywhere. It's one of those that really makes you understand why LPMA-Madeira is sometimes referred to as the air carrier airport...

The next two pics of this take off also turned out really nice. You can check it HERE and HERE

Currently this plane is "wearing" the special Blue Haribo livery..

New Photo of the Week - Tuifly / Hapag-Lloyd

Yesterday was Tuifly day.
Still wasn't the day to get the Golden Haribo but it wasn't that bad.

On a couple of quick stops at the airport, manage to get the landing of the Tuifly / Hapag-Lloyd D-AHLK and the Blue Haribo push-back for departure....

It's been a long time since I last caught these two, specially the one with the Hapag-Lloyd titles...

The one with the Hapag-Lloyd titles, despite the livery almost identical to the old one, it has a few diferences, anyway, it still brings some nice memories....
