30 Years of airline is allways worth to celebrate.
Can't say it's the prettiest special livery I've seen....but at least the number isn't under the fuselage, like the TAP 70 years.....
Anyway it was well worth the catch as it was the first I got Air Europa new livery despite  the older one is still my fav....

Air Europa: Estreia do B738

De regresso ao mês passado, tivemos a estreia do B738 da Air Europa por cá, iniciando uma série de voos charter de Madrid (e Bilbao a partir desta semana).
Já cá tínhamos tido algumas visitas esporádicas de aparelhos desta companhia mas, é a primeira operação regular mais estendida, além de ser, como já tinha referido, a primeira vez que voam com B738 para cá.

EC-LQX prestes a aterrar na 05...apesar da estreia, os treinos dos bombeiros, ao fundo, foram o mais parecido a banho que houve.....

No regresso, posicionado, alinhando na 05 com o PH-CDH da Corendon ao fundo, algo de inédito nas tardes de segunda-feira. Divergiu no dia anterior, devido aos ventos...ver mais sobre este movimento, AQUI

Back then, it was the first time I had the oportunity to photograph an Air Europa plane and though it had a nice livery...even better with the special sticker, in the back...

Privilege for the Reveillon

It's those days of the year when people start arriving for Madeira's famous Reveillon.
This morning we had a Privilege flight from Madrid.
Had already seen a few times their 757 around here but it was the first time I saw its ERJ-145.
A nice catch to end the year... (as it was probably my last spotting session of the year, also...)

Foto da Semana: ERJ-190 da Air Europa

A foto da semana foi tirada ontem, dia de Portugal...apesar de tudo destaca a presença de um espanhol por estas bandas...sacrilégio? Ná....apenas spotting...

EC-LLR

Apesar de não me lembrar de ver a Air Europa por cá, consta que já andou por estas bandas, há já muito tempo (provavelmente será fácil de encontrar mas, ainda não procurei...).

De qualquer forma, esta operação charter marcou a estreia do ERJ-190 deles pela Madeira, com um primeiro voo, de Madrid, na passada sexta-feira e ontem, o voo que veio buscar os passageiros.

Acabei por não conseguir chegar a tempo da aterragem, pelo que  ficam umas fotos do taxi para alinhar na 05 e descolagem de regresso a Madrid.

Por sorte, o beacon, num tipo de avião que é uma raridade por cá...

Big Brothers...

Costumam dizer  que o "Big Brother is watching you"...mas, neste caso era eu quem estava a ver os "big brothers"...
Estava com vontade de colocar algo diferente e já que esta é daquelas que também não será aceite em nenhum dos habituais sites de fotografia, decidi dar-lhe um tratamento mais "forte", com uma dose extra de maquilhagem...

Não é todos os dias que tenho oportunidade de ver um A340 da Iberia.
Os 767 da Condor, apesar de já não serem inéditos por estes lados. também não é coisa que sejam habituais por estas bandas....

Spotting on the run...

Like already said, on vacations didn't make any spotting sessions.
The planes that I caught in LPMH (Mahon / Menorca Airport) were during the transportation and entrance to the plane, in the apron.
Still, managed to get some shots.
The most interesting plane, should be Thomson B767 with winglets, as it was the first time I shot one of those, but the Thomson boring blue livery takes most of the fun of it....
So, this Air Europa B737, in front of Thomson's 767 looked a lot more interesting....
(curiously, it is the same one I caught a couple of years ago, in Lanzarote....lucky me....)
