The ATR corner

With the begining of Binter flights between Madeira and Porto Santo we now have a little ATR corner at Madeira airport... :)

Swiftair's ATR-72 EC-MAF (daily cargo flight from/to Lisbon), with Binter ATR-72 EC-JQL
On holding for runway 05, Aero Contractors Dash 8 5N-BPU (check HERE) and Edelweiss A320 HB-IJU landing on runway 05, from Zurich.
It funny to see how many planes you can squeeze on a non overview pic... :)

Aero Contractors: The Nigerian Q400

First Nigerian registration for me...
Usually, the only Dash 8 Q400 we get around here are the Sata ones, so getting a more colorful one like this is allways nice, specially with a Nigerian registration...

Arrived yesterday, from Dakkar (Blaise Diagne International Airport) and after a night-stop, continued this morning to Jersey...

With a full apron, was having a hard time finding a "hole" to get the plane taxiing to runway 05, behind the parked planes on the apron...

5N-BPU departing from runway 05 with an early take-off....

...which was nice, to avoid all those tails on the apron....
